ALC's total understanding of aviation lighting needs is by design. It is an active participant in these leading industry organizations:
- National Business Aircraft Association
- Professional Aviation Maintenance Association
- Regional Airline Association
- Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics
- Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association
- Illuminating Engineering Society
ALC's industry participation extends well beyond exhibiting at trade shows.
Its technical specialists take active roles in operator workshops and, perhaps
more importantly, visit aircraft operators in the field. This enables ALC to
anticipate, not just respond to industry needs.
|
ALC takes pride in its hands-on approach to customer service. Should an aircraft operator experience difficulty with a lighting system, a team of specialists is available for consultation. Should the problem persist, ALC may dispatch one of these specialists to assist in on-site troubleshooting.
When in-shop service is needed, products can be returned directly to ALC.
The company's ultramodern 21,000 square foot headquarters houses an FAA-certified repair facility which excels in quick turnaround. The staff is especially responsive to aircraft-on-ground situations. ALC goes the extra step to assure satisfaction in its ability to customize products. In special situations, lamps can be provided in unique lengths and shapes. Electrical components can also be sized for extraordinary applications.
ALC's reach goes beyond North America. To properly satisfy the needs of aircraft manufacturers, corporate fleets, completion centers and regional carriers worldwide, ALC international representatives maintain the same standards of customer service as their New York colleagues.

The ALC organization is comprised of aviation technology professionals, averaging 15 years of extensive aviation experience. This is primarily in commercial and corporate aviation, including engineering, quality control, aircraft and shop maintenance and flight operations.
ALC has a nucleus of key personnel who possess substantial knowledge and expertise in the management, engineering, manufacturing and quality areas of the aerospace industry. This talent is directed solely toward constantly improving aircraft fluorescent lighting systems.
