converts the 115VAC/400Hz aircraft power into the AC power necessary to light the Series 12 Fluorescent Lamps. The AL-2115 can be controlled by the AL-2402 Dimming Interface Module to provide multi-step or infinitely variable uniform and linear dimming. The AL-2115 is equipped with the
are available with a variety of aesthetic options. Standard color temperatures are Warm White and Cool White so you can match the light output to the color scheme of the interior. Our Tri-band lamps have a Color rendering Index of 85, delivering a brighter appearance, greater object clarity and color matching close to that of natural daylight. The Series 12 lamps use the ALC Positive Lock Lamp Connector to provide a one-step mechanical locking connection that provides maximum electrical isolation and protection. The pigtail lead on the lamp and the Easy-Lock Lamp Holder make installation and removal fast and simple and allows lamp overlapping to reduce shadows.
is capable of providing multi-step or infinitely variable uniform and linear dimming control to a maximum of 40 AL-2115 Protected Power Supplies. The Dimming Interface Module can be controlled by any device that provides a discrete resistance value, from a rotary potentiometer to the most sophisticated membrane switch. The dimming is accomplished using pulse width modulation and varying the on-off times to produce infinitely variable light levels from full brightness to 30% of fullbrightness. The pulse frequency has been set to keep the lamp filaments warm, reducing the lamp life impact normally associated with fluorescent dimming.
